Happy Thanksgiving 2018

Reflections of  November 22, 1963

On November 22, 1963, a female co-worker, after cheering the death (by assassination) of John F. Kennedy, a president, war hero, husband, and father; turned to me, laughed, and asked, “Well, what are you people going to do now?”  Each day I answer that question in my compassion toward others.

Twinsburg High Students, some of whom were not yet born on 9-11-2001, have shown that they will always remember. How then, could the rest of us ever forget?

Thank you students, staff, and school administration.

Thanks to Twinsburg VFW Post 4929 for the Flag Donation.

We’ve got some difficult days ahead . . . But it really doesn’t matter with me now, because I’ve been to the mountaintop; I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land.

If we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For, in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children’s future. And we are all mortal.
